PowerMyLearning Receives Amazon Web Services (AWS) Award

PowerMyLearning has received $10,000 in promotional credits from Amazon Web Services (AWS) through the AWS Education Equity Initiative. The award will support the cloud infrastructure and continued development of MathVoice™, PowerMyLearning’s innovative early math solution.

The AWS Education Equity Initiative is a $100 million commitment supporting organizations that build and scale digital learning solutions for underserved learners using cloud and artificial intelligence technologies.

MathVoice  uses collaborative, play-based math activities to spark meaningful conversations among young learners. As students explain their mathematical thinking, MathVoice captures their discourse and transforms it into time-saving, AI-powered insights that help teachers better understand what students know, how they are reasoning, and where they may need additional support.

PowerMyLearning’s approach to responsible AI keeps these insights teacher-facing. MathVoice does not deliver automated feedback directly to students, prescribe instruction, or replace educators’ professional judgment. Instead, it surfaces patterns in student thinking so teachers can draw on their own expertise, knowledge of their students, and instructional context to determine how best to support their students
